Investigative Drawing

Here we were asked to draw objects found in our pockets with different types of pencils, I decided to draw my key rings and found this to be harder than anticipated, as the easier something seems to be able to draw, the harder it becomes, as you try to get the illustration perfect to what you can see.























Above are the drawn images, for this task we held these objects in our hands, and tried to feel the shape, this was to develop a better understanding of the object and understand the texture so it was easier to draw and get across the idea of the surface of the object.

The Beginning

I have started this blog to begin talking and showing the development of my techniques used with drawing, this will cover concept art for the creation of possible characters through the use of life drawing, and creating a completely different view of the person/ character created from that drawing.

Within this, there will also be perspective drawings, still life and location drawings to help show my development of my skills when it comes to drawing.
